"Run away with me"
The Wedding Woods of Circle S Farms in Lebanon, Tennessee felt like Evann and Cole ran away together and walked into a fairytale of moss covered rocks, wildflowers and tall trees. As you walked through the woods, up the path to a clearing, you could feel the busy world fall away with every step. The trees have a special way of soaking up the noise of life and giving you a breath of fresh air as you surround yourself with God’s beautiful creation. Spending even a small amount of time in nature can help you reset and reconnect with our Creator and I love that Evann and Cole chose this setting to get married.
"So together they built a life they loved"
As they climbed the beautiful rock formation in front of their family and friends after her daddy gave her away, I couldn’t help but think of what a beautiful reflection it was of the journey they were talking hand in hand and the life they were building together side by side.
The people they chose to surround themselves with for their special day were seriously some of the best around! This wedding party of 18 was SO much fun and one of the best I’ve worked with!! Everyone had such good attitudes even through the crazy heat! And how Evann managed to look so stunning the entire day I’ll never know!! I looked in the mirror right before the ceremony and it seriously looked like I had gone swimming in my clothes! (Insert embarrassing laughter here!) But not beautiful Evann! She was breathtaking the entire time! And I’ll never forget that sweet look on her face as she walked down the aisle arm in arm with her dad toward her groom.
I was so honored to be there and capture their special day! This was an extra special one for me because I grew up with Evann and her sweet family. Hope you enjoy walking through their wedding day with me as you scroll through some of our favorite images! Make sure to check out their beautiful guestbook idea along the way!
Tears and giggles...such a sweet mother daughter moment!
Daddy seeing his baby girl in her wedding dress for the first time is one of my favorite parts of the day.
Ready for their first look!
Time to tie the knot! Loved how they planned to take care of their guests in the summer heat with these handmade fans! They even thought to provide bug spray! Love it!
Here comes the bride! Yay! How sweet are her niece and nephew?!
You may kiss the bride!
This was such a neat alternative to a guest book! Guests sign a date on a perpetual calendar. Then for years to come, the bride and groom will pray for the guests and the guests will pray for the happy couple on that date.
Let the party begin! So many wonderful people there to help them celebrate!
Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Rogers!! May God shower you with blessings as you start your life together!
xoxo,
